Homemade hair conditioners. DIY hair conditioners and balms

Hair rinses will help make your curls shiny and healthy. Products of this kind can be purchased at the store, but they do not always give the expected effect. The reason for this is the presence of chemical components, which, eliminating one problem, add another. Natural hair care products are more effective and less expensive. They can be prepared from what is in every home. It is better to make elixirs of strength and durability for curls with your own hands.

What is the use and what is the rinse aid for?

Hair care is a long and ongoing process. It requires periodic changes of funds. In addition to masks, you can use homemade hair rinses made from simple but effective products. They are used to add shine and strength to curls.

Homemade rinses are used to thoroughly cleanse the skin and hair, giving them elasticity and strength. Curls get rid of fat, dust and plaque. Thanks to the effects of rinses, hair shafts become stronger, they grow faster and do not split. A good mask will also help get rid of breakage.

Please note that some ingredients in homemade rinses may change the color of your hair. When choosing a recipe, you need to carefully select the ingredients to maintain its rich color.

Traditional recipes involve the use of natural ingredients. They are rich in vitamins of different groups, which has a very good effect on the health of the strands. This is especially noticeable in the spring, when the body is weakened. The rinse recipe should match your hair type. It is also necessary to clearly understand the problem and use only those ingredients that can eliminate it.

What can you make homemade mouthwash from?

The rules for preparing homemade rinses may vary. Some products are boiled or steamed, while others are simply mixed to the desired consistency. Herbal decoctions and ethers are most often used as the main component for dry and damaged curls. And for fatty people – natural apple cider vinegar.

And also for an effective rinse aid the following can be used:

    • onion peel;
    • sunflower flowers;
    • walnut shell and partitions;
    • flax seeds and oak bark;
    • lemon and burdock leaves.

Each hair type requires a different approach and careful selection of ingredients. You can prepare any conditioner at home and eliminate problems with curls.

Homemade hair rinse recipes

The best hair rinses can be made at home from products that are easy to purchase or find in your refrigerator. Highly fortified products have a beneficial effect on hair and can solve a number of significant problems. All elements of home remedies are natural and chemical-free. Their benefits are felt after several uses. A noticeable effect occurs with constant use. Different hair types require different products. They are easy to choose, based on the pressing problem with curls.

Universal rinse aid

A vinegar-honey based remedy can practically be a panacea for many problems.

Components:

    • water;
    • vinegar;

To prepare the rinse aid, you will need a liter of warm water. Three tablespoons of honey are dissolved in it, and then vinegar is added. Rinse your hair after washing off the shampoo. The recipe with apple cider vinegar is more gentle, so it is better to use it for dry strands. This product is recommended to be used after every hair wash.

Important advice from the editors

If you want to improve the condition of your hair, you should pay special attention to the shampoos you use. A frightening figure - 97% of shampoos from well-known brands contain substances that poison our body. The main components due to which all the troubles on the labels are designated as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, coco sulfate. These chemicals destroy the structure of the curls, the hair becomes brittle, loses elasticity and strength, and the color fades.

But the worst thing is that this nasty stuff gets into the liver, heart, lungs, accumulates in organs and can cause cancer. We advise you not to use products that contain these substances. Recently, experts from our editorial team conducted an analysis of sulfate-free shampoos, where products from Mulsan Cosmetic took first place. The only manufacturer of completely natural cosmetics. All products are manufactured under strict quality control and certification systems. We recommend visiting the official online store mulsan.ru. If you doubt the naturalness of your cosmetics, check the expiration date; it should not exceed one year of storage.

For growth

The best natural remedies for hair growth are ivy and burdock. They can be used fresh or dried.

Components:

    • burdock roots;
    • water.

Burdock root rinse is a rich decoction. It is necessary to take ten parts of water to one part of herbal raw materials. The broth should be boiled for fifteen minutes. Then it will take three hours to get a fortified infusion. You can constantly rinse your hair with this product after washing. If ivy is used instead of burdock, then ten drops of lemon juice should be poured into the decoction. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the best masks for hair growth.

From falling out

Effective folk remedies will help you cope with the serious problem of hair loss if you use them correctly and constantly.

Components:

    • flax seeds;
    • water.

Flaxseeds taken in the amount of one spoon effectively help against hair loss. They need to be brought to a boil in two glasses of water and allowed to brew. The decoction must be strained before use. The product serves to strengthen the roots, so it should be lightly rubbed into the skin. If you give your curls time to absorb the solution for ten minutes and then rinse, the effect will be more noticeable.

For oily hair

To remove the product of the sebaceous glands from your curls and make them shiny and crumbly, you need to use oak bark. It is perfect for oily curls.

Components:

    • water.

Dried and crushed oak bark in the amount of three spoons is boiled in a liter of water for about twenty minutes. When the broth has cooled, it must be strained through cheesecloth and used for its intended purpose. This product is well suited for people with dark hair as it has a coloring effect. For blondes, it is best to replace oak bark with St. John's wort, which can be purchased at the pharmacy. To make the effect more noticeable, milk is used instead of water.

For dry hair

Many natural products have a coloring effect, so you need to be careful when choosing them. Neutral birch leaves are good for dry strands.

Components:

    • birch leaves;
    • water.

Depending on the length of the strands, you need to calculate the amount of rinse aid. Take one spoonful of crushed leaves per glass of hot water. The product should be infused for half an hour. Each wash should be accompanied by a similar rinse. If the strands are very dry, then the water can be replaced with fresh brewed green tea, at the rate of two spoons per liter.

For shine

The benefits of citrus fruits for hair have long been known, and they should be used to their full potential.

Components:

    • orange;
    • lemon;
    • water.

The fruits must first be cut into slices. They are placed in three liters of warm water and left for three hours. The skin of citrus fruits has a large amount of vitamins, so it does not need to be removed. If necessary, the water is filtered before use. It is not recommended to store the product so that it does not deteriorate and lose its capabilities. It must be prepared at one time. Using a conditioner after each wash guarantees a vibrant and natural shine to your strands. The effect is visible after the first procedures.

Mask rinse

One of the most effective plants for the health of curls is the familiar nettle, which grows in every garden. In the summer you need to use its healing powers and store them for the winter. For preparation you will need fresh nettle leaves.

The nettle rinse mask is prepared very quickly. For it you need to collect juicy leaves and pass them through a meat grinder. The resulting pulp must be squeezed out to obtain juice. This is what is used for the mask. The juice is applied to the roots and strands. When creating a thermal effect, the mask lasts twenty minutes. It is easy to wash off with warm water. The effect of the product becomes noticeable after the first use.

The dream of any girl or woman is to have beautiful, well-groomed hair. After all, by the appearance of hair one can judge the general health of a person as a whole. Sometimes even your mood affects the condition of your hair. Therefore, every representative of the fair half of humanity should try to take care of her hair, be less nervous, eat the right products, monitor the condition of her hair, etc.

The cosmetic market today is saturated with many different shampoos, conditioners, and other numerous hair care products. Before turning to their help, you should remember the main rules, which are as follows:

  • First - .
  • Constant care.
  • Correct use of conditioners.

Hair structure when choosing a conditioner

Don't forget that everyone's hair structure is different. They are divided into four types according to varying degrees of fat content:

  • Hair that can be the same at any time (non-greasy) is considered normal. However, one should not conclude from this that they do not require care.
  • The fatty structure is quite problematic. Whatever the care, it requires special attention to keep oily hair in perfect order.
  • Dry hair is every woman’s worst nightmare. Dry hair is a result of either improper hair care or health problems.
  • The mixed look combines the presence of oily hair at the roots and the presence of dry ends.

And now, according to your hair type, you should begin to select the correct cosmetics to obtain the desired result.

Choosing a Hair Conditioner Recipe

Of course, the saturated market for hair care cosmetics is quite extensive. However, we should not forget that the main components, even those supposedly containing natural ingredients, are not entirely correct. And having different hair structures, it is difficult to choose something suitable.

For these purposes, it is better to turn to homemade or folk methods for making conditioners, masks, balms that will have truly natural ingredients, again not forgetting about your hair type.

The use of honey for preparing hair conditioner is very popular among people, and even in cosmetology. Its ability to restore and improve the functioning of hair follicles has been scientifically proven. It contains a large amount of vitamins, natural enzymes, trace elements and minerals.

Conditioner recipe No. 1

To prepare the conditioner, take a clean container, beat an egg into it, and add the same amount of honey. Mix everything well, bring to a homogeneous mass and apply to cleanly washed hair. Massage your head with your hands and then distribute it evenly along the entire length with a comb. The procedure lasts only five minutes, after which rinse your hair well with clean warm water.
This recipe will work for normal hair. The procedure is worth carrying out no more than twice a week.

It should be remembered that conditioners purchased in stores only wash away dirt and dust from the hair, and the substances included in such a conditioner can slow down hair loss. Hair conditioner prepared at home gives effective results without side effects. Homemade hair conditioner is a proven product that does not contain toxic substances.

The following recipe should be adopted by women whose hair is of the oily type, because this recipe is simple and very effective.

Conditioner recipe No. 2

I would like to immediately note that it is better to carry out these procedures at your grandmother’s in the village. You can certainly find truly natural products there. If this is not possible, you can go to the food market.
To prepare hair conditioner for oily hair, you should purchase one liter of whey. Then take a thick aloe leaf, rinse it and chop it, squeeze out the juice, mix all the ingredients, adding a little of your favorite oil (burdock, castor, peach, olive). Mix everything thoroughly, apply to clean hair and massage, leaving for five minutes. After which it's good.
This conditioner composition will make your hair silkier and stronger. This product coordinates the process of sebaceous secretions, moisturizes the scalp well and activates hair growth.

You can achieve the most effective conditioner for oily hair types by adding coconut oil and egg yolk to the recipe. This recipe is described below...

Conditioner recipe No. 3

To prepare the conditioner, beat the egg yolk until foam forms, add one-half teaspoon of coconut oil, 2 tbsp. spoons of lemon and a teaspoon of sugar. Whisk all ingredients well and apply the cosmetic cocktail twice a week. All components influence the normalization of the sebaceous glands and make hair voluminous.

Homemade hair conditioner copes well with the tasks assigned to it. The main thing is that all products are natural. Therefore, it is worth considering whether to buy all kinds of air conditioners in stores, if you can make it yourself without leaving your home.

Applying conditioner to your hair after washing has long become an integral ritual, because after this the curls are soft, manageable and easy to comb. But the problem with store-bought conditioners is a large number of chemicals that settle on the scalp in a thin film, preventing it from breathing. Industrial conditioners also contain substances that coat the hair cuticle - cosmetic silicones.

On the one hand, they make the hair soft, but on the other hand, silicones weigh down the hair, which is why the strands look too greasy and lack volume. In addition, these additives accumulate in the hair, blocking the access of oxygen and significantly reducing the effectiveness of masks and hair oils - beneficial substances are simply not able to penetrate contaminated curls.

Home air conditioners do not contain aggressive chemicals or silicones

If you notice that your hair has lost its shine, become unruly, does not hold voluminous styles well, has split ends and generally looks unhealthy, then it’s time to change your hair conditioner to a natural one. Making your own conditioner is not a difficult task and does not require a lot of time or ingredients. But the benefits of such a conditioner are obvious: hair becomes healthy, shiny and flowing.

What are the benefits of a home air conditioner?

Our hair has a unique structure - it consists of a cuticle, bark and core. The core stores all the beneficial substances that affect the appearance and condition of the hair. The hair bark partially retains substances in the core, preventing them from being washed out. And the cuticle protects the hair from destruction. It consists of millions of microscopic scales that perform two functions at once - they protect curls from external influences and make them shiny and smooth.

In the process of washing hair with aggressive alkaline shampoos, the cuticle is damaged, the scales rise and accumulated nutrients are washed out of the core. Deep cleaning shampoos operate on this principle, in which the amount of detergents is much higher than in ordinary shampoos. And, naturally, after washing your hair with shampoo, the exposed scales must be closed and smoothed, so that the hair conditioner covers each hair with a thin film.

It smoothes the cuticle and covers the exposed core. Unlike chemical store-bought conditioners, which do not nourish the hair, but only visually smooth it, homemade conditioners can heal the hair and significantly improve its condition. The fact is that when you make your own balm, you have the opportunity to add a variety of useful ingredients that will really help moisturize your hair and fill its core with vitamins.

It is better to prepare home conditioner in portions - for one wash

Also, a self-made conditioner does not accumulate in the hair and does not pollute it, so it can be used constantly, only periodically changing the basic composition. For lovers of homemade cosmetics, preparing conditioner can be a real creative process, because you can experiment with additives and change the composition endlessly, based on the general condition of the hair and the desired effect.

If you are a fan of natural cosmetics, then your homemade hair conditioner should definitely take pride of place on your bathroom shelf. It will not only make it easier to comb unruly curls, but will also help restore their structure. To make your hair conditioner as safe as possible, use only natural ingredients.

Shampoos are used to wash away all sorts of dirt and excess fat from the head. Conditioners are designed to restore the keratin layer and return moisture to the hair cuticles, hair follicles and scalp. However, most conditioners on the market today are just products whose sole purpose is to make hair soft. They contain synthetic silicone derivatives - in particular dimethicone - which make hair easier to comb. Store-bought conditioners usually contain other ingredients - propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, formaldehyde, dyes, fragrances, mineral oils, petroleum jelly, beef or lamb fat. All of them penetrate inside the hair shafts, accumulate there and cause considerable damage to the hair. Conditioners quite often contain a variety of natural additives: ginseng, aloe, green tea, plant, fruit and flower extracts - but in such minute quantities that they only slightly improve the aroma.

What can replace store-bought hair conditioner? What should you do if the course of treatment seems incomplete to you because your hair is dry, damaged, or because it is difficult for you to comb it? Use the following recipes for products that can be used as a rinse three to four times a week after washing your hair.

DIY natural hair conditioners

To make hair conditioner at home, use the following base.

Conditioner base:

  • 1 glass of clean water
  • 1 tsp. any herb of your choice
  • 1 tbsp. l. soy flour or whey protein

First you need to brew a herbal infusion. Bring the water to a boil and add one teaspoon of all the herbs you have chosen. Turn off the stove and let the herb steep for approximately 6 hours. Strain the infusion, squeeze out the remaining herbs and discard. Pour dry protein into the strained infusion and stir until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Pour the finished conditioner into a plastic bottle with a dispenser for storage. Attach the label.

This DIY natural hair conditioner is used only after shampooing. It is rubbed into the hair with your fingertips. If your hair is oily, apply conditioner to the ends of your hair and leave the roots alone.

Rubbing conditioner into the scalp will involuntarily provoke an increase in the production of sebum in the hair follicles. Keep the mixture on your head for 3 minutes, then rinse with cool or warm water. To rinse, use the recipe given in the second half of this chapter.

Just as in the case of shampoos, infusions of medicinal herbs that improve hair color can be added to the base of homemade hair conditioner.

Herbal infusion with oil.

It is enough to rub the herbal infusion with oil once a week to quickly tidy up split ends.

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 tbsp. l. any herbs of your choice
  • 3 tsp. rosemary oil or natural basil oil

Pour the olive oil and peanut oil into a non-metallic saucepan, add the herbs and stir. Bring to a boil and cook until the herbs are crispy. Strain, discard the herbs, and pour three-quarters of a glass of oil infusion into another bowl for storage. Add rosemary oil or basil oil. Pour the finished infusion into a plastic bottle with a dispenser for storage and attach a label.

Apply this medication to your hair, being careful not to get it on your scalp. Wrap your head in a warm towel and put on a shower cap on top. Leave on your head for 1 hour.

Rinse thoroughly, then rinse with shampoo. This recipe can be used as a compress for the scalp. It is especially good for treating dry, inflamed skin. You can get rid of such an illness if you use this remedy three to four times a week, applying it only to the scalp. Subsequently, it will be enough to use it as a compress for the scalp once a week.

Conditioner made from flour and water.

Another hair conditioner, popular in the best beauty salons in Europe, is made from a mixture of flour and water. It’s not so easy to rinse your hair after it, but the game is worth the candle.

You will need:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 glass of water

Knead the dough from flour and water.

Apply your homemade conditioner to dry hair and leave on your head for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water - if you rinse with hot water, it will be very difficult to wash the dough off your head. Rinsing may take 5-10 minutes, but you will see that your hair will become much more manageable, smooth and shiny. After this procedure, you can wash your hair with shampoo and rinse.

How to make hair conditioner at home

Molasses, which is the basis for making rum, works real miracles on dry hair.

Rum conditioner for dry hair.

  • 3 tbsp. l. Roma
  • 1 egg yolk

Mix rum and egg yolk until smooth.

Wash your hair with shampoo and then apply this homemade conditioner to your hair and leave it on your hair for 10 minutes to allow it to be absorbed. Rinse with water - as cold as you can stand it. Warm or hot water will cook the eggs and the head will look like a haystack.

It can be made even simpler- take half a glass of cane molasses, lubricate your hair with it and hold for 20 minutes until it is absorbed. Then rinse off with cool or warm water. Cane molasses can be taken as a mineral supplement because it is rich in calcium, iron, niacin (vitamin B3), phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin (vitamin B2), sodium - all of which are very beneficial for the scalp. However, one word of caution is in order: if you decide to drink molasses straight from the bottle, be sure to brush your teeth immediately afterwards, as molasses is famous for its amazing ability to cause tooth decay.

Below are a few more hair conditioner recipes that are ideal for dry and easily damaged hair. They can be used no more than once or twice a week. These products are perishable and must be used immediately. You need to prepare just enough of them to be enough for one procedure.

Honey-lemon conditioner.

  • 1 tsp. almond oil
  • 1 tsp. avocado oil
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. l. honey
  • 1 tbsp. l. fresh lemon juice 1 egg yolk

Pour all ingredients into one container for storage and mix thoroughly. Use freshly prepared balm immediately.

Wash your hair with shampoo, then take a natural honey-lemon conditioner and rub it into your hair. Leave for 5-10 minutes, then rinse with water.

Here's another recipe for thin, dry, easily damaged hair with split ends. Mixing gelatin and egg makes a delicious protein-lecithin conditioner that should be used once a week.

Egg gelatin conditioner.

  • 1 tbsp. l. gelatin (regular, without additives)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp. l. freshly squeezed lemon juice

To prepare such a conditioner at home, you need to slightly heat the water, then dilute gelatin in it.

Let cool, then add the egg yolk and lemon juice and stir until smooth.

Wash your hair with shampoo, then take the egg gelatin conditioner and rub it into your hair. Leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with cool water.

The best conditioner for oily hair is melon.

Melon conditioner for oily hair.

  • 1/2 cup fresh melon pulp

Mash the melon with a fork to make a smooth paste.

Rub the melon pulp into the scalp and leave it on your hair for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

If you have long or dry hair or, despite constant haircuts, you suffer from split ends, you can treat the ends with a special balm every day. The essential oils used in this recipe are absorbed into the hair without any residue - leaving it looking smooth, shiny and healthy.

Conditioner for treating split ends.

  • 1 tsp. lavender oil
  • 1 tsp. basil oil
  • 1 tsp. rosemary oil
  • 1 tsp. nettle oil

Pour all the oils into one small dark glass bottle and shake well.

Pour a few drops into your palm and rub into your hair, then comb through with a massage brush. When making this balm, you can use all of the oils listed, or you can limit yourself to one or two.

In the last section of the article, you will learn how you can replace hair conditioner.

What else can you replace hair conditioner with?

Hair conditioner can be replaced with rinse.

Therapeutic and prophylactic rinse (for daily use).

  • 1 liter apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l. with a heap of dried rosemary leaves
  • 1 tbsp. l. with a heap of dried sage leaves
  • 1 tbsp. l. with a heap of nettle leaf
  • 1 tbsp. l. with a heap of dried basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp. l. with a pile of chamomile flowers

Lightly crush the herbs in a mortar or rub them between your palms to finely chop them.

Pour apple cider vinegar into an enamel or glass saucepan and heat. Add herbs. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

Cool, then strain, pour the finished lotion through a funnel into a vinegar bottle. Label and keep in the refrigerator.

Don't forget the label! There's nothing harmful about this lotion, but I'm afraid this herbal vinegar won't taste good as a salad dressing.

Dissolve half a glass of therapeutic and prophylactic lotion in 1 liter of warm water. Rinse your hair and rinse with tea conditioner.

Tea rinse.

  • 1 tbsp. l. nettle leaf
  • 1 tbsp. l. dried horsetail herb
  • 1 tbsp. l. dried rosemary leaf
  • 1 tbsp. l. dried sage leaf
  • 1 tbsp. l. dried basil leaf
  • 1 tbsp. l. crushed dried Indian hemp herb
  • 1/2 l water

Bring the water to a boil. Turn off the heat, pour the herbs into boiling water and steep them until you get a strong tea. Strain, pour the finished rinse aid into a glass bottle for storage. Attach the label.

Pour out a glass of tea rinse and rinse your hair with it. If you want, replace the bowl and rinse your hair again with the same rinse.

Rub your hair and scalp vigorously with a terry towel or, better yet, terry cloth “mittens.” The fabric will absorb excess water, and the wiping procedure itself will stimulate blood flow to the scalp.

Comb your hair with a fresh, clean comb and then style.

It's hard to imagine that once upon a time women did not use shampoo and conditioner and went to various lengths to make their hair look beautiful and fit well into their hairstyles. Isn't that why wigs were invented so that ladies would always be in shape? Meanwhile, natural hair conditioner was available at all times, but not everyone knew how to use it.

How hair conditioner works

What does smoothness depend on? It depends on the state of all the elements of its structure: cuticle, bark and core.

Various negative influences, such as dyeing, sun and hard water, literally destroy the hair structure, opening the cuticle and leaching nutrients and moisture from the depths of the hair. It is the conditioner that can smooth the keratin scales of the hair and preserve nutrition and moisture inside the hair. It “seals” the hair, making it stronger and more resistant to irritants.

Today there are a huge variety of ready-made conditioners designed for a specific hair type, which must be taken into account when choosing a conditioner. You shouldn’t buy a “two-in-one” shampoo, created for convenience; it doesn’t perform any of the functions properly, it doesn’t wash or smooth.

How do ready-made air conditioners work? The substance included in their composition fills defects in keratin scales, moisturizes and evens out the hair structure. That is why, speaking about the effect of conditioner, it is worth noting that it simultaneously treats and protects from exposure to sunlight, especially if we are talking about a conditioner that does not need to be washed off.

Despite the huge number of different types of ready-made air conditioners, many of us prefer natural ones prepared at home.

Purchased products are very often accompanied by complaints about the deterioration of the hair’s condition - it becomes dry or greasy, quickly gets dirty, and can hang in “icicles” - this is what customers say about it. An alternative to expensive and not always effective store-bought products is homemade balms, which are applied after washing, wait a while for them to take effect, and rinse off. This product combines a mask and conditioner - it restores hair and at the same time smoothes the scales, making curls more manageable and shiny.

  1. Homemade hair conditioner is most often a composition that includes natural acids or honey. Honey is often used in cosmetology because of its unique properties that can restore and improve the structure of skin and hair. It contains everything to nourish and moisturize hair: minerals, vitamins, enzymes. To prepare the simplest homemade conditioner, you need to mix egg yolk and honey in equal proportions, apply to cleanly washed hair, and rinse. To enhance the effect, you can hold it on your hair for about half an hour.
  2. The simplest conditioner recipe is foamed egg yolk, which is applied to damp hair, further foamed and emulsified with water. And after 5 minutes, wash it off. This conditioner saturates the hair with vitamins, making it nourished, thick and shiny. Particularly useful is the lecithin contained in the yolk, which fills the hollow pores of the hair and makes it less brittle and more elastic.
  3. Using another, no less effective recipe, you can give your hair excellent shine: to do this, you need to mix 50 ml of aloe juice, the juice of half a lemon and three drops of rosemary oil. Apply the mixture to clean, damp hair and rinse after 10 minutes.
  4. An effective rinse is obtained from a mixture of body moisturizer and 1 tbsp. spoons of honey. The resulting composition is applied to the hair along the entire length, without affecting the roots. They should be massaged with fingers dipped in a mixture of lemon juice and cognac. Leave the balm on the hair for 5-10 minutes, then rinse with water.
  5. Along with honey, regular gelatin helps fill defects in the keratin coating of the hair, so it is widely used to treat and restore dry and brittle hair. A tablespoon of gelatin must be dissolved in water, add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, and a couple drops of jasmine, rosemary and sage oils. Apply the composition to clean, wet hair and leave for 15 minutes, then rinse.
  6. This tropical coconut milk-based conditioner will help restore shine and shine to your hair. Mix 50 ml of coconut milk with half a banana, add egg yolk and a little of your favorite essential oil. After washing your hair, apply a mask for 5 minutes, then massage the scalp and rinse with water.
  7. Natural hair conditioner made from banana and honey is suitable for all hair types. It perfectly restores the hair structure and returns its natural shine. Take 1 banana, a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of almond oil, mix everything and apply it to your hair after washing your hair for half an hour. Rinse your hair with warm water, do not dry it with a hairdryer, but just lightly pat dry with a towel.
  8. Another conditioner recipe for all hair types involves the use of several medicinal herbs, such as calendula, chamomile, as well as honey and essential oil. Taking a tablespoon of each herb, you need to pour two glasses of boiling water over them, leave, cool and add honey and five drops of your favorite oil. Apply to clean, damp hair and keep for a couple of minutes, rinse.
  9. You can make a homemade moisturizing conditioner based on Panthenol cream or foam, which you can buy at the pharmacy.
  10. 2 tbsp. l. cream or foam mixed with 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. honey and any essential oil. If your hair is severely damaged, you can add half a teaspoon of castor oil. All ingredients are mixed until smooth and applied to damp, washed hair. The scalp is gently massaged to improve blood flow, and the mixture is distributed over the entire length, paying special attention to the ends, then the homemade conditioner is washed off with water.

By regularly using homemade hair conditioners, you will quickly see that they restore hair much better than ready-made ones, since they contain only natural ingredients that take their strength from the earth itself. Such products are no less effective than professional balms, which contain silicones, parabens and other unhelpful and even harmful substances.
